We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and the sole authority for our Christian faith and life.
Because of our sins all people have earned God's wrath and eternal punishment. In His great love for us, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to be our Savior.
Jesus Christ kept the law perfectly in our place and He died on the cross to take away the sins of all people.
We are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. In Him we enjoy the forgiveness of sins, peace with God, power for living, and a certain hope for heaven.
The Holy Spirit creates and strengthens saving faith in Jesus through the Means of Grace, which is the gospel message of Jesus delivered in God’s Word and in the sacraments of Baptism and Communion.

Pastor Paul Rutschow
Pastor Rutschow attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary for two years before serving his vicar (intern) year at two congregations in southern California. He then accepted a one-year call to teach Religion at Arizona Lutheran Academy in Phoenix before returning to the seminary for his final year, graduating in 1997.
Since then, he has served a congregation in Strongsville, Ohio, for eight years and a congregation in Cottonwood, Arizona, for eighteen years. In 2024, he accepted the call to serve at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Florida.
Pastor Rutschow and his wife, Johannah, have been blessed with three children. David is attending Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. Elizabeth is majoring in Nursing at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mark is majoring in Engineering at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
Pastor Rutschow especially enjoys teaching Bible classes, interacting with members, and writing and preaching sermons. In his free time, he enjoys sports, swimming, and travel.
